Today, the Council presented the Resolution of Commendation to Mr. Janjan “DIY Motovlog” Tolentino, a Kagay-anon whose quiet acts of service have kept our roads safer and our city cleaner.

Two weeks ago, during the 12th Regular Session, the Council unanimously approved Resolution No. 15467-2025 honoring Mr. Tolentino for cleaning and doing minor repairs on road shoulders, sidewalks, and streets across Cagayan de Oro. Today we placed that gratitude in his hands.

His simple yet selfless efforts have not only helped prevent accidents but also inspired many to care more for our city. In a time when social media often highlights trends, Mr. Tolentino chose to highlight good deeds, reminding us that kindness and community spirit never go out of style.
