During the 8th Regular Session of the 21st City Council of Cagayan de Oro last Monday, I was honored to deliver my special report encouraging more business establishments and public spaces in our city to become pet-friendly. 
I believe that our pets are not just animals β they are part of our families. Creating more pet-friendly spaces in Cagayan de Oro means promoting responsible pet ownership while building a compassionate and inclusive city where everyone, including our furbabies, can live happily.
This advocacy is close to my heart, and I am truly grateful for the positive support. Special thanks to TJ The Explorer, CDO’s very own dog vlogger, for sharing this journey and showing how important it is to give our pets a safe and welcoming place in the city. 
Together, letβs continue to work toward a Cagayan de Oro where every family member β even the furry ones β feels at home.
